Eventbrite Automation Enhancement

Eventbrite continues to be one of our most popular integrations. We view it as a common thread among most Join It users that events are a primary source of value for the relationship between organizations and their members.

It’s hard to replace bringing together people that share a common interest -- and no one does event management and ticketing better than Eventbrite with their powerful and user-friendly platform.

And, we’re happy to announce that we’ve made our integration even more powerful by enhancing the two-way syncing between Join It and Eventbrite.

Update your discount code value: This data will now be pushed through to Eventbrite when you update the discounted amount or usage limits. 

Quick example: if you created an automation so that all members receive 10% off to 'Event A,’ then Join It will automatically generate codes on behalf of the members, pushing them to Eventbrite. 

Suppose you were to add another automation where members receive $2 off of 'Event A.’ In that case, this new automation will override the previous 10% discount with the new $2 discount value -- this also applies to creating/updating codes with new settings for how many times customers can use a code.

As a quick aside, it’s best to delete the old automation in this instance.

Previously, any changes to a discount code required deleting discount codes within Eventbrite as a second step. Now, updates to the discounted value and usage limits can be completed directly through your Join It account!
