Based on feedback from Organizations, we've now made it easy to update the Payment Date and Notes on an invoice.Â
This is especially convenient when recording Offline Payments into Join It -- in the case that a member paid offline (e.g. handing you a check at an event) but it's not recorded into the system until later.Â
To give this a spin, you can go to the 'Finance' section and click on any payment receipt. While viewing the recept, you'll now see the option to 'Edit Reciept' -- which will display the optins to edit the Payment Date and Notes.Â

With this approach, larger organizations, who use the service to process more memberships, end up paying a bit more. Additionally, it aligns Join It and our organizations, so that we're not making money unless you're selling memberships.
The Join It Service Fee is small service fee when you collect an online membership payment through our platform. This is separate from the payment processing fee that is charged by Stripe, which is the behind-the-scenes platforms that facilitates the processing of payments.
